Small milling machines are used for small-scale, small-volume milling operations as well as for Milling tie-ins. As a rule, they have working widths of up to 1 m. They are distinctive for their compact dimensions and high manoeuvrability. Depending on the machine model, these machines have Milling depths of up to 33 cm. Their Milling drum is arranged at the rear, which facilitates milling right up to fixtures or other obstacles. (see also: Large milling machines)
