Zero-clearance side
The Zero-clearance side results from the eccentric position of the Milling drum inside the machine.
On the Zero-clearance side (usually the right-hand side of the machine), the machine frame extends only slightly beyond the machine’s working width, making it possible to mill right up close and precisely along obstacles such as kerbstones, safety barriers or retaining walls.
During the planning stage and the actual milling operation, this situation needs to be considered in terms of working direction and securing of the construction site.
